Compass Healthcare Covid-19 (coronavirus) response
In these challenging times, as always, our Compass Health team is focused on the health and safety of our patients, staff and their families. With that in mind, and in compliance with Governor Whitmer’s executive order 2020-7, if you have a fever (100.4 degrees F. or above), shortness of breath and a cough – please do not enter a Compass Health facility. Please instead call to reschedule your appointment to a time when you are no longer exhibiting symptoms. In addition, in order to protect our patients and staff from exposure, we are limiting visitors accompanying patients for appointments. If you are not essential to the patient’s appointment, you will be required to wait elsewhere and will not be allowed in the facility.
New information regarding COVID-19 is being made public constantly, and we will continue to monitor the situation, following the guidelines laid out by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The situation continues to be quite fluid, and we recommend that you monitor reputable medical websites such as the CDC (www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/index.html), for the latest news and information regarding COVID-19 symptoms. You can also contact your primary care provider if you have any concerns. Above all, please be safe by following the guidelines offered by the experts to help slow the spread of this and other illnesses. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to do our part in supporting a safe and healthy community.
